N.º 39 the famous Pineapple Cake Upside Down… I don’t understand why I take so much time to bake it! I think it was the fact that it was suppose to have caramel on the pineapple, why is that you ask… Hubby doesn’t like caramel!
I did found on the internet that you could use sugar instead, so I did that! And it was perfect… If you are in the same situation as me, you can do what I did, although if you really want the caramel just put on your own slice! 😀
I used ad old portuguese recipe, but if anyone wants it, I can translate and post it here.
The cake was so good that it didn’t last more then one day. It was buttery and the pineaple was sweet, but at the same momet it brought some fresh and tangy taste to the cake! And this is one of those cakes that is better when is cold!
